The Dragons of Quelm<\/p>\n
\n\tAncient dragons from a land far away,
\ta place where the power of magic held sway.
\tThese great docile giants without a care in the world,
\thad not an inkling their lives soon would unfurl.
\tMystical cities of beauty they built,
\thad they but known their joys would soon wilt.
\tThey enjoyed their last days in truth without knowing,
\tthat ever closer to their doom they were flowing.
\tThe moment had arrived their doom was at hand,
\tand all their power and might did disband.
\tNothing was left of the dragons of quelm,
\tsave the lone traveler psyra on a ship without helm.
\tCast out into the bleakness across time and space,
\tlost in a sea of stars the last of his race.
\tUntil at last a beacon of hope he did spy,
\tand toward this pale blue dot with great speed did he fly.
\tA land he did find of richness and beauty,
\tand of memories of his homeworld it reminded him truly.
\tYet a link to this world he had to find,
\tthrough dreams he found it in human mind.
\tTo the human he came without worry or shame,
\tto ask for his aid and the power of quelm reclaim.
\tSo together they would stay and cause past tragedies to be undone,
